The nationally ranked Wisconsin volleyball team will hold an open tryout on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the UW Field House. The Badgers are seeking female student-athletes with prior high-level experience to become members of UW’s intercollegiate team.
Athletes who are selected in the tryout process must be willing and able to start training with the team this semester. All students will be considered including foreign athletes. Participants for the tryout must be full-time students (12 or more credits) in order to be eligible. Athletes should come to the Field House dressed and ready to participate in drills as part of the tryout.
Students interested in participating in the tryout must contact UW assistant coach Rod Wilde at 262-4488 or RKW@athletics.wisc.edu to reserve a spot. Note: Due to the Camp Randall Stadium renovation, access to the Field House is limited to Gate C, which is located off Breese Terrace.
