My intention was not to cast blame on the young girl. I’m very sorry the incident happened. My whole point was to try and convey that even though you are in college and may sometimes think you are “immortal,” you still must be responsible for your own safety. Unfortunately, you cannot walk alone at night in downtown Madison.
I did not mean to blame the young woman in any way. I apologize to everyone, especially the young woman, who took offense.
