In response to “GOP: Give credit where credit is due” by Sara Mikolajczak:

Sara, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

In response to “Farewell, Favre” by the Editorial Board:

One of my favorite memories of Brett Favre was when we were hanging out in a country field just outside of Green Bay, and he punched a hole through a cow just to see what was on the other side. Man, what an arm. - Germain Q. Stemme

Wow, I can already tell this is going to be one of the worst issues ever. I can’t wait to see all the media freak out (after waaaayyy too much coverage) when he decides to come back, but if he never does, thank God. Go Bears and any other team but Green Bay.

In response to “Don’t shoot the sheriff” by the Editorial Board:

This editorial is completely off the mark. The immigrants are not criminals. At most they have committed civil violations and for anyone who was actually at the Public Hearing Kumar put on, the sheriff is shameless reporting battered women who report their citizens as well as witnesses of crimes to ICE. This policy is a slap in the face to public safety. This Sheriff is coward, plain and simple.

In response to “SAFE bet: Smathers neglects need” by Conor O’Hagan:

Smathers, the kid is a freshman. You could be ripping on Manning, but he is equally dimwitted… but 3 years older. Neither have been impressive, but Conor is at least attempting to find himself on campus. As a user of SAFEride, I don’t mind this being his number one issue. I guess it all boils down to a douche and a turd sandwich.

In response to “ASM should emulate UW-Milwaukee government” by A.J. Piwarun:

Ummm…. ok? UWM not only passed a sedition act, but also has their former finance person being charged for fraud. I am glad ASM does not look like that.

Who the hell are you? Deputy Speaker, are you kidding me? Your self-importance knows no bounds.

In response to “Transit system idea absurd for Madison” by Sara Mikolajczak:

You goddamned young whippersnappers ought to have listened to esteemed Badger Herald alum Davy Mayer when he pitched his zeppelin-based mass transit solution during his ill-fated run for mayor. Damn libtards!

Geez, most of these comments seem like personal attacks with a smidge of offensive language and irrelevant comments.

Does the BH looks at its comment policy???

Anonymous (March 7, 2008 @ 8:39am):

I'm just glad to see Germain back.

It's true. The comments they publish are fairly hurtful.

Perhaps if they didn't have writers producing such stupid articles, the comments wouldn't be so hurtful.
