The victim, a 45-year-old man from New York, and the suspect had an altercation inside the bar that spilled out onto the sidewalk in front of the bar, MPD spokesperson Joel DeSpain said Friday.

The suspect allegedly punched the victim, who fell and hit his head on the sidewalk, according to the police report. The suspect fled and was pulled over a short time later on Mineral Point Road, police said.
