The 400 blocks of West Dayton and West Gilman Streets will be closed for traffic the weekend for construction in the area.
A press release from the Madison Traffic Engineering division said Stevens Construction will be disassembling a crane over the weekend, causing the 400 block of West Dayton Street, located between North Broom Street and North Basset Street, to be shut down from 7 a.m. Friday morning through Saturday evening.
Another release said the 400 block of West Gilman Street, located between University Avenue and State Street, will be shut down from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday due to concrete pouring in the area.
