Madison named third coldest major city in U.S.

Madison+named+third+coldest+major+city+in+U.S.

Madison was named the third coldest of 20 major cities in the country, according to the Weather Channel, but if you’ve been outside in the last month, you already knew that.

The Weather Channel reported Madison’s average temperature between the months of December to February is 21.6 degrees.

The station also reported Madison’s all-time low temperature ever was -37 degrees Fahrenheit on January 30, 1951. The also sees 17 days of subzero cold each year and is below freezing temperatures 152 days a year on average.
