Madison police are looking to identify a possible witness to a sexual assault on West Wilson Street reported in early November.

A man assaulted the 22-year-old woman on the 300 block of W. Wilson Street on Nov. 3 after going to the bars with her downtown.

The victim described the assailant as a short man in his mid-20’s with a tan complexion, nearly shaved head, facial stubble, the report said. The victim added that the perpetrator was likely mixed-race and was possibly wearing rimless glasses, the report said.
