Interim Chancellor David Ward will officially spend a second year at the University of Wisconsin campus, UW System officials announced Tuesday afternoon.
UW System President Kevin Reilly said Tuesday Ward will have his appointment as interim chancellor extended to two years, according to a UW System statement.
At Monday night’s Faculty Senate meeting, Ward said he would want to stay at UW if the Board of Regents would grant it.
