Rhythm & Booms draws thousands despite postponement

LUKAS KEAPPROTH/Herald photo
Thousands watched as fireworks lit the sky for Rhythm & Booms Sunday evening. The annual Fourth of July display at Warner Park traditionally takes place the Saturday before July 4, but it was postponed a day due to weather concerns. Holding the event on a non-holiday weekend allows the city to avoid overtime pay for almost 200 security personnel.
