What do you have to do to show these people that 9/11 in no way justifies the military occupation of another country? Yes, 9/11 was a horrible atrocity committed against our country, and we were justified to go into Afghanistan to take out a military regime that supported the terrorist network that was responsible for the attacks. But where is this connection to Iraq? What it comes down to is there is no legitimate justification. WMD’s? sorry not there, A General threat U.S. security? I think Iran and N. Korea who are developing and have nuclear weapons may pose a little more of a threat. how does johnson explain why FBI director mueller, donald rumsfeld, a high-ranking FBI official, and a ‘hero’ firefighter all give drastically DIFFERENT accounts of whether the black boxes in the airplanes were ever found? it’s interesting to note that the only one who said they were all found was the one who was actually ordered to find them — the hero firefighter.

continuing in this light, how does johnson explain how a ‘terrorist’s’ passport - made of paper - was magically found, completely intact, while FOUR indestructible black boxes - all made of fire- and explosive-resistant material - somehow completely VANISHED (according to rumsfeld and miller… sort of).

how does johnson explain the ‘put options’ — bets that a stock will FALL — placed on Boeing, United Airlines and American Airlines that were FOUR to ELEVEN times the normal amount in the immediate days prior to 9/11? incidentally, to this day, the SEC refuses to investigate this.

how does johnson explain why cheney, rumsfeld, bush, wolfowitz, rice, perle, and numerous other neo-cons all signed off on a document stating it would take a “CATASTROPHIC and CATALYZING event — LIKE A NEW PEARL HARBOR” to get the american people behind “a long war” of empire slated to cut a swath from Iraq to China — as written in September of 2000? You come off as a little angry in your post and I hope it’s because you are angry that only republicans are being blamed for complicity in the attacks of 9-11, because trying to argue the point that democrats were also involved, with the motivation of diminishing the responsibility of the current republican administration would be nothing but a red herring. Recounting the talk Earl Johnson has given Bridget Roby repeated some of the falsehoods uttered by him as her own statement. This is nowhere near the “journalistic etiquette", to say the least. First of all there is no "Barrett's conspiracy theories". It is an irrefutable fact that the only conspiracy theory is the one the lying, cheating, dishonest, un-American Bush administration and, in Eric Alterman's terminology, the "Media Whores" propagate. All other explanations that are slandered as Conspiracy theories are the informed, logical and careful analyses of the events of 9-11.

Professor Griffin has called the 9-11 commission report "A 537 PAGE LIE!". Roby and your editors must do a lot of reading before committing words on paper. I have watched both him and Griffin deliver lectures on this “inside job” theory, and they have no one inside the Bush administation then or now supporting this theory.
