A suspect who approached two individuals late Sunday night on West Gilman displaying a handgun and demanding money remains at large, Madison Police said Monday.
At approximately 2 a.m. Monday morning, two individuals walking in the 400 block of West Gilman were approached from behind by the suspect, who they described as male, white, approximately 5-feet-8, 150 lbs. and between 20 and 25 years old. Victims said the suspect was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jean pants.
The two victims turned over their wallets and the suspect fled the area on foot. No injuries resulted.
“As far as I can see, it doesn’t look like the two victims would be able to identify the suspect … it was dark and they couldn’t see his face,” Madison Police Officer Laura Walker said.
