Gubernatorial candidate Jim Doyle retains his lead over incumbent Gov. Scott McCallum, according to the latest We the People/Wisconsin statewide poll of 600 likely voters.
The phone poll found 46 percent supported Doyle, the Democratic candidate, while 38 percent supported McCallum, the Republican candidate. Eight percent supported Libertarian Ed Thompson and 3 percent supported Green Party candidate Jim Young.
The margin of error was plus or minus four percentage points.
