What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (one unofficial name) is a way of delivering content. Our RSS feeds contain a list of the most recent headlines, complete with text for each story and a link to the article online. The following sources may be helpful:
How do I use it?
RSS feeds are most commonly read in a news reader, which is an application you install on your computer. Excellent news reader programs are avilable for Windows and Mac OS — our favorites are listed here:
- For Windows: SharpReader is a simple, solid choice.
- For Mac: NetNewsWire is the venerable champion.
The Badger Herald Muckraking Podcast features members of the Badger Herald's editorial board opining on issues concerning the University of Wisconsin and the city of Madison. Additional episodes are not currently being recorded.
