Welcome to the Herald Sports live blog! I’m Mike Fiammetta, sports editor at the Herald, and I’m here at Soldier Field in Chicago with Elliot Hughes and Kelly Erickson, our sports content editor and associate sports editor. We’ll be live all day here, bringing you all the action as the Badgers face the Huskies in UW’s first “road” contest of the season.

There are plenty of storylines in this game, most notably the Badgers’ reunion with Dave Doeren, their former defensive coordinator and now the Huskies’ head coach. Also, both teams feature explosive offenses. For a complete breakdown, check out Elliot’s preview from Friday’s paper.
