Ike’s legal troubles continue

by Tyler Mason
Tuesday, April 29, 2008

It looks like former UW cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu will have to overcome more legal hurdles before joining the Philadelphia Eagles, who selected him in the fourth round of this past weekend’s NFL draft.

According to an article in The Capital Times, a plea agreement fell through on Friday after Ikegwuonu’s brother, Bill, rejected it. This means Jack could potentially face trial on July 14. This stems from an incident back in November of 2006 in which the brothers were charged with breaking into an apartment on the Northern Illinois campus—where Bill attends school—and attempting to steal an Xbox.
