Science is fun

University of Wisconsin chemistry professor Bassam Shakhashiri and senior scientist Rodney Schreiner led a special workshop yesterday, sampling a variety of science experiments to demonstrate how science can be fun.

The workshop was part of the Wisconsin Science Festival, which ran this weekend. The mission of the first annual event was to inspire and educate the next generation of global citizens about science, cultivate curiosity and communicate the power of knowledge through hands-on exhibits and the merger of art and science.
