The Badger Herald publishes on broadsheet, the largest newspaper size available. The other two papers commonly read by UW students are printed in the smaller tabloid format. What does that mean for you? It means you get more room to publish your message and attract attention when you choose The Badger Herald!
Additionally, we publish 15,000 issues each weekday, whereas our major competitor publishes only 10,000 issues. That’s a full 50 percent more exposure for an ad placed with us, so you can’t go wrong.
Design and campaign services
The Badger Herald creative design department boasts a staff of talented graphic designers. Allow them to update a current ad, create a new ad or even produce an entire advertising campaign. More information is available in the production services section.

Rates are per column inch, calculated by number of columns across by number of inches down. A full page is 6 columns by 21 inches, or 126 column inches.

Discounted rates are offered to advertisers who commit to a minimum of 250 column inches (about two full pages) to be used in a 12 month period.
