Associate Multimedia Editor
Newspapers and news organizations all over the world are changing. At the Herald's Multimedia Department, we bring interactive, popular and quality multimedia content to our small pocket of Wisconsin, giving students the opportunity to create an innovative experience for one of the most-read news websites in downtown Madison.
The Herald is looking for a paid Associate Multimedia Editor who can work evenings two nights per week. The job will require work with online multimedia features such as interactive timelines, videos, social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, and minor HTML. Only an interest in learning is required, but experience is highly encouraged. For more information on this opportunity, contact Ramsey Statz at rstatz@badgerherald.com by Thursday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.
Senior Video Reporters
The Herald has two openings for senior video reporters, who complete one 1-3 minute video per week. Applicants should have extensive video experience and be familiar with local news. For more information, contact Ramsey Statz at rstatz@badgerherald.com by Thursday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.
Videographers
We are looking for videographers interested in capturing local events, conducting field interviews, and editing the raw video to produce online pieces to be featured on BadgerHerald.com. To apply, send an email with a description of your past video experience to multimedia@badgerherald.com.
